I once met a lady who moved into Nigeria 2 years ago. She lives in Lekki and works on the Mainland and for the 2 years she has been in Lagos, she has not made any friends!

The places are listed in no particular order. Here are 5 places to meet potential dates in Lekki.
1. The Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge
With fitness & healthy living increasingly becoming a conscious habit among many, you’ll find a set of people who religiously take to the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge to jog everyday. You’ll find these #fitfam enthusiasts as early as 5 AM and in the evenings too. However, if you’re looking to meet new people, it’s advisable to go jogging on weekends as that’s when more people come out to jog.
My tip: Download the Truppr app as it brings all of the fitness enthusiasts together by location. You can also find out other sports in which you can meet up and participate through the app.
2. Ebeano supermarket
Ebeaano supermarket is one of the most popular supermarkets in Lekki Phase 1, located off the every busy Admiralty way. Due to their large stock and variety, the place is usually a beehive of activities. You’ll find different kinds of people here. CEOs, Single mums, business executives, group of friends, IJGBs etc.
3. Religious houses
This is one of the places to find the fashionable, trendy younger crop. House On The Rock church is also a favourite among celebrities. I personally remember someone telling me before he met his wife, he used to visit HOTR in the hopes of meeting someone compatible to date. Other similar places include: This Present House and The elevation church. Not leaving out the Lekki Central
4. The Place Restaurant
The Place consists of a hotel, restaurant and a club but is known mostly for it’s food and many people troop in here to eat. Peak times are between 5:30 PM to 12AM. However Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays are the most jam packed days. The Place crowd is an even mix of the decent and the hustlers.
5. IMAX cinemas
The only cinema in Lekki will definitely draw in the movie lovers. The IMAX Lekki has a cool lounge and some restaurants upstairs and it’s better to go when they’re showing trending comic movies like “The Wedding Party”.
These are some of the places I believe you can meet potential dates in Lekki. You should also be on the look out for our next event, following our first trip to Omu resort. We’ve taken feedback from that trip and will bring you a more refined and interesting experience subsequently.
