The Catholic Church of the Epiphany, Ologolo, Lekki started as an outstation of the Church of Divine Mercy, Lekki on Sunday January 7th 2007 the Feast of the Epiphany, from where it got its name, in the premises of Engr. and Dr. (Mrs.) Anthony O. Bassey, by order of Rev. Fr. Anthony Taiye Fadairo, then the Parish Priest of the Church of Divine Mercy, Lekki. Rev. Fr. Fadairo appointed Mr. Geoffrey C. O. Anyaso, Chairman of the Church Community, assisted by Dr. (Mrs.) Gertrude A. Bassey. Both of these represented the outstation at the Parish Council of the Church of Divine Mercy, Lekki.
