Otres Restaurant Lekki: My Experience

So I’ve been hearing about Otres Restaurant for a while now. Their social media manager first reached out to me during my time at My Lekki.

In fact, they had invited me to come check the place out but I somehow couldn’t find the time to visit. So on this Sunday, after a long and tiring walk at the Lekki conservation centre, and my friends asked for other things to do in Lekki, I naturally suggested we go eat at the Otres restaurant in Phase one.

We found our way to Wole Olateju crescent where the restaurant is located and quickly found Otres.

Follow me as I take a little tour:

So we sit down and I take a look at the environs.

Otres Restaurant main hall

There’s no TV in sight and there’s music playing in the background. The environment is cozy just how a proper restaurant should be.

We settle in and order for freshly squeezed juice. The waiter says that’s not available to my dissapointment so we did cocktails instead.

After a 25-30 minutes wait, the food finally arrived, served in a native clay black pot and flat wooden tray local style.

Vegetable soup and semolina

I ordered vegetable soup and semolina while my friend ordered for banga soup and starch.

Overall, it was a good experience.

Wait time: 30 minutes

Customer service: Very good.

Food quality: Excellent

Bill: N23,000

My opinion: The bill is a little on the high side however, it was a nice experience.
